About The Window
Under a mountain in Tibet stands a doorway of worked stone with nothing behind it, until the magnetic field reaches a certain value, four times a year, for a few days at a time. Major Owen Rhodes has eighteen months of stolen survey tables and needs to know when.
The Window is a signal-matching puzzle. Turn the frequency, amplitude and phase dials until your green trace lies exactly on the gold field reading, then hold it there until the window opens. The clock is always running, and from the fourth reading the field picks up an overtone that makes it harder to match.
