About Garonne Battery
1959. Franco's Spain has spent twenty years building something nobody expected: a mechanized army that is now pouring north out of the Pyrenees. One French field gun stands on the ridge above the Garonne, the last line before Toulouse.
Garonne Battery is an artillery game. Drag back to set the angle and power, read the wind and drop your shells on the advancing infantry and tanks. The river slows the enemy down, so that is the place to hit them. Tanks fire back, and every fifth wave brings heavy armour that takes several direct hits.
The Iron Pyrenees
Garonne Battery is a free companion game to The Iron Pyrenees by James Cross. If the game hooks you, the full story continues in the book series.
